main responsibilities

If you like work well done, have fun with creative concepts, participate in brainstorming sessions, are innovative and creative, and follow current and future trends, the Graphic Designer position is for you!

Working closely with our Social Media Manager, you will you will assume several responsibilities:

  • Interpreting creative briefs into conceptual ideas;
  • Ensure brand standards are applied to all graphic elements;
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for logos, packaging and print materials such as promotional brochures, business cards, banners and flyers;
  • Create marketing materials for all digital channels (social media, website, banners, newsletters, etc.) and ensure that the look and feel of the brand and the message is carried through in all visual communications;
  • Providing creative consultation and direction on projects;
  • Participate and/or initiate brainstorming sessions within team and/or department;
  • Managing workload and schedule, and prioritizing projects;
  • Maintaining computer records/files that are clearly titled, managed and archived, and accessible;
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies.

qualifications & skills

  • 5 years’ experience in graphic design;
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience with a design background;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Strong creativity and conceptualization skills;
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Knowledge of packaging design, promotional material development, in-store presence, brochures, online advertisements and other marketing materials;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly;
  • Superior time-management and prioritizing skills;
  • Autonomous and resourceful;
  • Experience working in an agency setting;
  • Knowledge of HTML5 (an asset);
  • Interest in video editing and motion design (an asset).
